About Us

Our Story

The Norfolk Wrestling Club was founded in 2022 by head coach Cole Mabee. Since then we have fostered a thriving community of athletes and parents aimed at raising up the next generation of wrestlers in Norfolk County.

The Founder

Cole Mabee - Norfolk Wrestling Club Head Coach

Coach Cole began wrestling for DDSS in 2013 finishing his high school career with a top 12 OFSSA placement. In 2016 Coach Cole attended McMaster University where he earned a top 6 placement at the 2016 Ontario Provincial Championships as well as a 7th place finish at the OUAs.

While training at McMaster Coach Cole’s coaching career began in 2017 at Hillfield Strathallan High School in Hamilton as an assistant coach. In 2018 Cole started the DDSS wrestling Program. In 2022, Coach Cole founded the Norfolk Wrestling Club.
